ChessBase India show 15 with Nihal Sarin

Nihal Sarin played a great tournament at the Tata Steel India chess 2018 Rapid. He scored 3.0/9 drawing six of his games against players like Anand, Karjakin, Mamedyarov, Harikrishna, Vidit and Ganguly.

The boy is just 14 years old and has no experience of playing chess at the highest level. How did he manage to perform so well. How did he manage to hold such strong opponents at bay? IM

Sagar Shah was curious to know about this and after the tournament ended, he visited the young boy in his room at Taj Bengal. It was already 10 p.m. and one would imagine that a young boy like Nihal would be tired and that the interview would be short! Well, when it comes to chess and Nihal no interview can be short. The boy simply devours chess at any time of the day.

GM Nihal Sarin and IM Sagar Shah sat down and enjoyed the analysis for nearly one hour 15 minutes. Nihal analyzes all his nine games.
